UK Government website Keep Business Moving: Prepare your business for January 2021 if you are based in the EU

Dear reader,

Sharing with you details of the new UK Government website Keep Business Moving https://gov.uk/eubusiness, which has been launched this week.

This is a very useful consolidation of UK advice on new customs and border arrangements and is intended to help businesses across Europe prepare for the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020. As the UK will then be leaving the EU customs union and single market, there will be a series of guaranteed changes for which businesses need to prepare.

The page will be updated with more information, including webinars and industry events, over the coming weeks and months.

This communications effort complements the UK Government’s domestic facing campaign, which outlines the steps UK businesses need to take to prepare.

The priority for the team in the Embassy in Helsinki is to work closely with companies and business associations to help prepare for the changes so that businesses can continue trading with the UK beyond the end of the transition period.

The team in the Embassy stands ready to answer questions and help with any inquiries. Please let us know if we can help in any way.

Best wishes,
