Morocco will host the 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety. This event will take place in Marrakech, M, on February 18 and 19, 2025.

The purpose of this conference is to assess the progress made in implementing the Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030 during its initial five-year period, and to generate support for the new vision of safe and sustainable mobility.

NGOs can start preparing by engaging with their government contacts so that the right people commit to attend, understand their country’s progress and challenges to achieving the 50% target, and prepare commitments for investment in and implementation of evidence-based interventions that will save lives and protect people.

The conference is an opportunity to be leveraged in our advocacy, to help us keep our governments accountable for people and communities’ right to safe mobility.
