Finland-Japan Chamber of Commerce, Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce, and Enterprise Europe Network welcome you to a member breakfast event:

Time: Tuesday March 12, 2019 at 8.30 – 10.15
Place: WTC Helsinki, Marskin sali, Aleksanterinkatu 17, Helsinki

The EU and Japan’s Economic Partnership Agreement entered into force on 1 February 2019. EU firms already export over €58bn in goods and €28bn in services to Japan every year. In the past, European firms faced trade barriers when exporting to Japan, which mad e it hard for them to compete.

The trade agreement with Japan:removes these barriers, helps us shape global trade rules in line with our high standards and shared values, and sends a powerful signal that two of the world’s biggest economies reject protectionism.

Members now have a first-hand opportunity to hear from experts how the agreement will affect your business going forward.
