BUSINESS DELEGATION VISIT TO RWANDA
24-28 JANUARY, 2022

Business Finland is organizing a business delegation visit to Kigali, Rwanda on 24-28 January 2022. This visit to Rwanda is a continuation to the visit of Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Vincent Biruta to Helsinki in October 2021, who was accompanied by a business delegation.

Rwanda’s economy has undergone rapid industrialization due to a successful governmental policy. Since the early-2000s, Rwanda has witnessed an economic boom, which improved the living standards of many Rwandans. The Government’s progressive visions have been the catalyst for the fast transforming economy. Hence, Rwanda is one of the fastest growing economies in Africa and is the gateway to both the East African Community trade region and the Democratic Republic of the Congo with market opportunities to the west. Rwanda is a good place for piloting products and solutions for the African market and offers business opportunities within the sectors of manufacturing, agro-processing & packaging, real-estate & construction, ICT & financial services, energy, mining, health care and education.

The program of the visit includes a business seminar, site visits and sector specific B2B meetings with business leaders and authorities according to the interest of the participating companies as well as participation in the opening ceremony of the new Finnish Honorary Consulate in Kigali.

Ms. Nina Kopola, Director General of Business Finland, will attend the visit and support the Finnish companies during the visit to Rwanda.
