EU Chamber of Commerce in Canada: Free online program for EU businesses interested in doing business in CANADA
EU Chamber of Commerce in Canada (EUCCAN) offers a free online program running until the end of 2020 for EU businesses interested in doing business in the Canadian market. The events are free of charge and are targeting EU companies.
From September to December there will be a series called ‘One Week, One Province’. It will present the trade and investment opportunities of each province to EU companies. More information here
On 22 September, a panel discussion (‘CETA – Three years after, working together for economic recovery’) will review the implementation of the agreement which entered into force three years ago. Ms Mary Ng, Canadian Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade will open the panel. Mr Christian Burgsmueller, Chargé d’affaires of the EU delegation to Canada and Mr Christopher Cooter, Chargé d’affaires of the Mission of Canada to the EU will give updates on the agreement. They will also present how CETA can be a great and viable opportunity for companies from Canada and the EU in the present and post COVID economic recovery context.
