INVITATION

The members of the Finnish-British Trade Association are kindly invited to a luncheon meeting on Thursday 27 February 2020 at the British Embassy.

The meeting will start with the Embassy’s brief review of current matters that may be of interest to the members of the association.

 

The Embassy’s opening remarks will be followed by a presentation by Mika Aaltonen, D. Sc. (Econ.), Research Director at AI Strategy Company and adjunct professor at LUT Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology. He has acted as advisor to governments and corporations all over the world, and he is the author of fifteen books and more than one hundred articles about forecasting, decision-making and societal transformation. The topic is “Artificial intelligence – man and machine”. That is also the topic of his latest book, “Tekoäly – ihminen ja kone”, a copy of which is included in the participation fee of the meeting.

 

Venue:        The British Embassy, Itäinen Puistotie 17. Photographic proof of identity will be required at the Embassy gate.

Time:         Thursday 27 February 2020

11.30 am:   Presentations and discussion

12.30 pm    Lunch

1.30 pm:     Closing of the event

 

The participation fee [60 euro] including lunch and a copy of Mika Aaltonen’s book Tekoäly – ihminen ja kone (Alma, 2019) will be invoiced afterwards.
