Join us on Friday 8th March as we explore the forefront of technological advancements, with distinguished speakers shedding light into how AI is fostering positive change. A special case study will be given on AI is utilised in modern medicine. The event promises an intellectual feast, complemented by luncheon and networking at the British Embassy.

First we will have Santeri Kirvelä from Boston Consulting Group, who will talk on how AI can be used and applied in society and business. This will be followed by Jukka Tapaninen from Aiforia, who will present a case study on how AI is utilised in hospitals around Britain. The event is hosted by Ambassador Theresa Bubbear.

The FBTA will charge a participation fee of 30 euros for participating in the lunch. Participation to the presentations on AI is free.

Santeri Kirvelä

Santeri Kirvelä is CEO of BCG Platinion, a division of Boston Consulting Group focused on IT and technology topics, for Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Santeri’s main focus is technology-enabled change in large-scale transformation programs. He has worked with leading Nordic and European companies, focusing on significant change initiatives driven by top management, efficiency improvement projects, reorganizations, and strategy redefinitions. Technology and IT have always been at the core of his client work. He holds an M.Sc. degrees both in Business and Engineering.

Jukka Tapaninen

Jukka Tapaninen is the Chief Executive Officer of Aiforia. Before joining the company, he held various executive positions over the past 25 years in international IT and software businesses, such as SAP and HP. His experience includes leading enterprise software sales for healthcare industries as well as overseeing global business development, building strategic partnerships, and scaling up growth companies. He holds an M.Sc. degree in Economics.
