Business Finland, in partnership with JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) London Office, Embassy of Japan in Finland, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland and Finnish-Japanese Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to invite you to Japan Day 2021 – a special webinar on the sustainability and green economy.  

During the webinar you are able to explore how Japanese companies are taking actions towards sustainability and/or looking for business partners in Finland in the field of sustainability or green economy. Also inspiring business stories from both Japanese startup in Finland and Finnish startup in Japan providing innovative bio-based solutions will be shared.   

The webinar aims to encourage Finnish companies to be motivated to expand their business in Japan or develop partnerships with Japanese companies in the field of sustainability/green economy by learning from the stories from various actors: mega pharmaceutical company, trading house, start-ups and public sector. The event is expected to contribute to promote active trade and investment between Japan and Finland after economic slowdown caused by the pandemic.
