Finnpartnership and Deaconess Foundation Kymppi project are hosting an event where Tanzanian and Finnish companies, NGOs and other stakeholders in the Forestry, Wood processing and Natural products sectors convene.

Organizations active in the Tanzanian forestry sector will be presenting identified business opportunities and the event is a fantastic opportunity to meet potential partners as well as the respective Embassies. Information on project funding and private sector – NGO collaboration is also on the agenda.

When registering for the event, you will create a profile for your organization that is visible to all other registered participants. In your profile, it is crucial to share information on e.g. the type of partnerships that are of interest to you. The event includes a 90min section for one-to-one meetups. Two weeks prior to the event, all registered organizations will be able to browse the participant gallery and book meetups with the organizations most relevant to you. Based on bookings, Business Maker will provide individual meetup schedules to all participants. In between meetups you can tune in for interesting presentations running simultaneously to the matchmaking session. The presentations are recorded and will be available after the event. The priority for all participants is definitely to engage via one-to-one meetups!

You can join the event online via the Business Maker platform or live in Helsinki (Rastilan Kartano, Karavaanikatu 4, 00980 Helsinki). The live event includes breakfast at 9am (FIN). Live participatin is limited, and the status of live participants is visible when registering for the event. Event programme starts at 9.30am (FIN) / 10.30AM (TZ) and we end at 1.00pm (FIN) / 2.00PM (TZ). Lunch is available for live participants.
