After the success of the 1st Angola-EU Business Forum in Brussels in 2022, the European Union, in partnership with the Angolan authorities, is holding a second edition of the event on 17 November 2023 – an initiative Back to back with the “Made in Angola” Fair.

Angola has been implementing measures to improve its business environment, diversify exports and improve the country’s infrastructure. The European Union and its Member States, as Angola’s main trade and investment partners, are committed to supporting these reforms, with a view to promoting economic diversification, sustainable growth, and the creation of decent jobs.

This high-level event will bring together the European Union and the Government of Angola as well as European Union Member States and companies interested in investing in the country. Ministries responsible for the sectors covered and business support agencies will also participate, such as the Angolan Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX).

A special role will also be assigned to financial institutions that can support investors in Angola and Europe. Finally, the synergies between the Angolan and European private sectors are at the heart of all the activities of this 2nd Business Forum.

We are asking the EU-linked business present or interested in entering the Angolan market to fill in an online survey to tell us the issues affecting them.

This information will frame the discussions, speakers and -importantly- follow-up actions.

We respect the EU Data Protection law and your replies are fully confidential.

There will be an info session about the upcoming EU-Angola Business Forum on October 16th at 11:30 AM (UTC+02:00) Brussels time. You can join the info session from this link.
