The 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai on November 5-10, 2019.
China is the second largest economy, as well as the second largest importer and consumer in the world. In the next five years, China is expecting to import products and services valuing more than 10 trillion U.S. dollars, which provides a historic opportunity for enterprises across the world to enter the huge Chinese market.
Under the theme of “New Era, Shared Future”, the CIIE will help friends from around the world to seize opportunities presented by China’s development in the new era and offer a platform for us to deepen international business cooperation for shared prosperity and progress.
This year the business exhibition section featuring seven categories as well as an outdoor exhibition area will expand to 300,000 square meters. New exhibition area on the theme of life empowered by science and technology will be set up this year, exhibiting artificial intelligence and virtual reality-related equipment and an area exhibiting high-end consumer goods and another exhibiting elderly care and rehabilitation products will be added in the quality life and medical care exhibition areas.

The Chinese delegation will be headed by Mr. Wang Bingnan, Vice Minister, Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China，also the Director General of China International Import Expo Bureau. The event is supported by China International Import Expo Bureau and Embassy of China. Chinese Ambassador Mr Chen Li will also attend the roadshow.
