“Expoalimentaria”will take place at the Centro de Exposiciones Jockey, in Lima, Peru, on the 27th-29th of September 2017.

Each year, the event strives to consolidate itself as the most important event in the region in terms of food. This years edition will feature innovative, exportable Peruvian products, especially from the many different, diverse regions of the country. It will also include activities such as the Coffee and Cacao lounge, Pisco (Peruvian national beverage), wine and other spirits lounge, aquaculture and marine products lounge, innovation competition, kitchen demonstration, as well as conventions and thematic seminars.

As previous years, interested international buyers and importers may have access to a subsidy for the travel expenses, classified in different packages,  based on an evaluation by the Organizing committee. Some of the requirements for the aforementioned subsidies are that the buyers and importers are interested in buying exportable items that are presented at the fair, from either the agrarian and/or marine section, and that said companies/buyers/importers have not previously done business with Peru. The interested companies do also have to have a webpage, and fill in the registration form, that can be found on the Expoalimentaria webpage.
