Objective
Uruguay and Finland are politically, economically, and socially stable countries.
Several decades ago, Finland and Uruguay began a mutually beneficial relationship with flagship investments which are thriving. But Uruguay is also a fertile land for small and medium sized businesses, and for other sectors as well – why not go one step further?

Bio and circular economy, development projects in forest industry, education and connectivity are examples of sectors where these countries would have many opportunities to further develop cooperation and increase trade and investments. New sectors could include software and digitalization, clean energy, environmental services, wood construction, bio-based innovation, architecture, and design.

This event is co-organized by Business Finland, Embassy of Finland in Uruguay, Finnish-Latin American Business Council, and the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Uruguay.
The webinar part will be simultaneously translated (English-Spanish).
Moderator: Andrew Cooper, General Honorary Consul of Finland.
