From 30th September to 15th November 2020 will take place the Food Fair: Expoalimentaria Trade Show 2020 in a virtual manner. The event Expoalimentaria 2020 constitutes one of the main business platforms in Latin America, bringing together the food, beverage, machinery, services, packaging sectors for the food industry.

Expoalimentaria is organized by the Peruvian Exporters Association (ADEX) together with the Ministry of Foreign Affair of Peru, the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MINAGRI), the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) and the Peruvian export promotion entity PROMPERU.

Due to the current situation, ADEX has reported that the XII edition of Expoalimentaria will be held in virtual format, from September 30 to November 15, using the B2B platform. This event will include business roundtables, informative panels, and specialized conferences in the agro-export sector.

It should be noted that there is a Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and Peru, which brings benefits in terms of better conditions for trade through new rules on non-tariff barriers. On the other hand, Peru already exports several vegetables, fruits, superfoods, coffee and cocoa, between others, to the Finland, but we have a huge potential to increase our exports and to enter the Baltic countries markets.
