Geng Kang is the Head of Public Affairs and Sustainability for Huhtamaki in North Asia. In this role, he manages external communication, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable development initiatives in the North Asian region, supporting the group’s goal to achieve carbon-neutral production by 2030. Geng Kang initiated and led Huhtamaki first paper cup recycling pilot program in China and introduced the global “Think Circle” sustainable thought leadership platform to China.
Before joining Huhtamaki, he accumulated over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, government affairs, and sustainable development while working for various globally renowned companies. Additionally, he currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Circular Economy Committee of China Packaging Federation.
