Malaysia is the EU’s second largest trading partner inside ASEAN, behind Singapore. Bilateral trade between the EU and Malaysia is dominated by industrial products, whilst the EU mainly exports manufactured goods as machinery and electrical equipment. Regarding the IPR, Malaysia is closely linked to the evolution of IP laws in the United Kingdom, generally being in conformity with the international standards.
On Thursday, 26 May 2016, you are welcomed to join Helpdesk Expert Mohd Azrul Hamid for a webinar session “IPR Protection Strategies for EU SMEs from the Manufacturing Sector in Malaysia.” Mr. Hamid will highlight key IP considerations and cover IPR issues such as:
  • The recent and foreseeable IP developments in Malaysia
  • IP challenges for SMEs in the Manufacturing sector
  • Road maps for successful IP protection strategies
  • Practical Dos & Don’ts for SMEs in the Manufacturing sector
This free of charge web-based seminar is composed of a 45-minute expert presentation, where Mr. Hamid will take you through a range of simple, cost-effective measures to develop your business in Malaysia and protect your IP.
