The application round that is opening up now will be implemented in two phases, and the application period for the first phase is 1 September 2015 – 12 October 2015.

Joint projects must have at least one corporate participant from each country. The goal is to launch market-based research and development projects to develop innovative products and services. Tekes provides funding for the Finnish side and FINEP will finance the Brazilian side. The process provides Finnish companies the opportunity to enter a new growing market area, and at the same time to develop cooperation with Brazilian companies.

The first phase begins on 1 September 2015. In the first phase the Finnish applicant will submit the “Finep-Tekes application form”, which is attached to this joint call announcement to the Tekes Registry Office by 16:15 on 12 October 2015 (kirjaamo@tekes.fi).

All project proposals submitted by the final date, 12 October 2015, will be evaluated in a joint evaluation by Tekes and Finep. Applicants will be informed of the result of the evaluation, and instructions for the second phase of the process by 12 November 2015.
