The Government of Argentina has presented its plans for economic and structural reforms. The aim is to reduce costs, improve infrastructure and open up the economy to foreign direct investments. Businessmen all over the world took part in an Argentina Business and Investment Forum on 12 – 15^th September 2016.

Eng Diego Ranea, Member of the Board of Directors of the Finnish-Argentine Chamber of Commerce visited Helsinki in the last week of September 2016 and met with Mr Tapani Järvinen, Chairman of the Finnish-Latin American Trade Association and the Vice-Chairman Mr Martti Haario. Investments and deepening contacts between chambers in order to expand trade and investments between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.

Eng Diego Ranea is ready to help Finnish companies to enter the Argentinean market. Sectors like; Food, Food Industry and Technology, bioenergy, renewable energy technologies, robots, environmental care for cities and debris (waste management) and software for industry are areas worthwhile exploring.
