The Finnish-Latin American Business Council organised it’s annual general meeting on the 25th of May 2023.

Our guest speaker, Jan R. E. Jarne, Chairman of the board at FinnCham Brazil, flew all the way from São Paolo to share valuable information about key sustainable development goals and challenges in Brazil.

According to Jarne, Finnish companies are adapting wonderfully on Brazilian markets, and the country is making significant strides in producing renewable energy. However, pressing issues such as social inequality, environmental degradation, and political polarization remain challenges.
