Finland-ASEAN Business Association, together with Business Finland, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Finnpartnership, and Finnfund, welcomed Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and a large Vietnamese delegation into Finland this week.

• At the Forum we learned that:

  • Great business potential for Finnish companies due to young and high productive population
  • Interesting investment opportunities in Binh Dinh Province having favorable investment conditions
  • Kai Lemmetti shared his experience of successful establishment of IWA company in Vietnam operating in software sector
  • It was also promising to hear that Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and EU is currently under preparation
  • International Industry Standards and approval procedures are under implementation
  • BEAM program and other business and development opportunities were presented. 140 ongoing projects

  • We learned also about financing opportunities and available financing instruments
