On 2 December 2025, Latvia Travel and Investment and Development Agency of Latvia organized the seminar “Discover Latvia – Your Next Inspiring Meetings and Events Destination” at the Embassy of Latvia in Helsinki. The event was opened by H.E. Mrs. Dace Treija-Masī, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Finland, who highlighted the upcoming Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to be held in Riga in 2026.

The programme featured presentations on key venues and opportunities for business events and meetings in capital Riga and Jurmala, Latvia’s second-largest city, along with an overview of outdoor activities and accommodation options in these regions, as well as travel possibilities between Latvia and Finland.

The event concluded with Latvian music and a tasting of local culinary specialities.
