Egypt offers exciting potential across multiple sectors—not just forestry. While Egyptian businesses have traditionally partnered with France and Italy, today they are increasingly looking toward Northern Europe, including Finland.

To strengthen foreign trade, we need to: Build trust and understand what companies are doing,
connect businesses and encourage international expansion, as well as identify funding opportunities and suitable regions for collaboration. Listening to companies is key: some are ready for global markets, others have great ideas and some need tailor-made solutions.

We had fruitful discussions with H.E. Ambassador Mohamed Ahmed Fahmy Ghoneim at the Chamber of Commerce. These conversations are an important step toward deeper cooperation.
