Employees liability in focus: Baltic & Finnish overview on 3.6.20
The workforce and the legal aspects of employment are important arguments when planning for international expansion. Moreover, the current Covid-19 crisis may bring new issues to the table of business planning. In this webinar, we will examine employees liability regulation and practice in the Baltics and in Finland as well as take a short look at the effects of the new coronavirus on companies economics and working environment. To set the scene, Mr. Timo Vuori, Vice President of Finland Chamber of Commerce will introduce a recent study on the effects that the new coronavirus crisis has had on Finnish Exporting companies and what to take into account in the future.
The legal professionals from Eversheds Sutherland employment practices in Latvia and Finland will shed the light on employee’s s civil liability towards the employer and discuss the possible consequences should the employee fail to fulfil the obligations.
