India’s 2023 Budget – An Interactive discussion

The Embassy of India in cooperation with Finland India Business Association (FIBA) will be hosting an interactive session on the Indian Union Budget for the financial year 2023 – 24, which will be presented by the Finance Minister of India on 1st February 2023. The Indian Union Budget clearly lays down the priorities of the government by highlighting focus on certain sectors crucial for socioeconomic development of India. The objective of the interactive session is to provide a snapshot of the budget proposals, discuss highlights therein, with a special focus on proposals that could be of interest to Finnish businesses.
Mr. Raveesh Kumar Ambassador of India to Finland will join the session along with the Chairman and Board of FIBA, Mr. Chandan Chatterjee. The Budget highlights will be presented by Mr. Amit B. Jain from Ernst & Young and the Finnish perspective will be shared by Mr. Risto Herrala, Adviser, Bank of Finland.
The event will be held on 9th February at Radisson Royal Blu (Meeting room Tallin), Runeberginkatu 2, 00100 Helsinki from 16:00-18:30 hrs.

1620 hrs – Highlights of the Indian Union Budget 2023, Amit B. Jain, Ernst & Young
1700 hrs – Perspective on the Budget by Risto Herrala, Adviser Bank of Finland
1715 hrs – Q & A and closing words
1730 hrs – Refreshments
1830 hrs – Event Ends
