Arab countries form a diverse and dynamic market area with opportunities for Finnish companies, especially in construction, waste & recycling management and clean water, but also within technology solutions that enable the green transition overall.

Also, Finland has a good reputation in education, engineering skills and knowledge. And, keeping up the promises, of course.
These factors formulate a solid base for opportunities not only in business itself, but in consulting and education sectors that support upskilling, local business development, and partnership building.

These industries are very much in my radar too, particularly the ones that support green transition, education, entrepreneurship also female entrepreneurship. In addition, I’m keen to explore new business development as cross border collaboration and mutual learning that supports the localisation of solutions and services between the Arab countries and Finland.

Overall, for the Finnish companies when exploring the opportunities, I would suggest on considering in the idea of “Good everyday life” as a whole; housing, food, health, and learning. Particularly, what Finnish companies and education institutions could offer in fulfilling this idea – not only as opportunities for export but also for building long-term partnerships and co-operation with local counterparties.
